“Where does every number come from?”

The Catalogue

Every figure on this site comes from a government publication offered for public reuse. No listing feeds, no vendor data, and no scraping of private sources. The publishing bodies are listed by subject on the sources page, and each figure names its own source beside it.

This page and the sources index carry no advertising, by rule.

Using It

Every professional table on this site has a CSV twin with the same columns and the same definitions, linked beside its title, plus a copy-ready citation. That is the supported way to take these figures into a report or a housing plan.

Embeddable figures for newsrooms and town sites:<iframe src="https://www.re413.com/embed/rate/" loading="lazy" style="border:0;width:320px;height:180px"></iframe> for this week's numbers, and /embed/town/<slug>/ for a town's vitals. Both carry their attribution.

Need a figure in another shape, or think one is wrong? The About page has the contact. Methodology questions are answered with sources.

Built for These Too

The same 101 towns, cut for a different job.

Sources

"Figures through" is the period the publisher's data describes; "checked" is only when we last asked. The full sourcing: sources and method.
